Collection inspired by the figure of Martin Luther King and the struggle for African-American civil rights which, in the current context, becomes a denunciation of the injustice in the Catalan political process.

Non-violent action, inspired by Gandhi’s example, mobilized a growing part of the African-American community until it culminated in the summer of 1963 with the historic march on Washington, where Martin Luther King delivered one of the most moving speeches acknowledged for the formula that heads his vision of a fair world: I have a dream.

Despite arrests and racist police assaults, the movement for civil equality faced racial segregation, and Dr. Martin Luther King was awarded with the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964.

The deconstruction of the pieces result from an intense work on patronage of a collection that is based on irregularity. 

Oversize shapes are intended to allow the freedom of movement and leave the body express without any limitation.

The unfinished pieces have a metaphorical sense of a living creation process. Organic shapes work with the technique of weaving, form landscapes that approach us to nature.

The work with ribbon symbolizes oppression, ropes and tapes are used combined.   The macramé technique is employed with metallic applications as a symbol of violence.

Padded and leather pieces symbolize the need to protect the body and they are used in black. The accessories such as the protections on legs and arms and the visor are self-defense pieces.

Silk-screen printed and embroidered messages speak of rights and freedoms, make the message explicit and put it in value.

The fabrics are mostly of natural composition: cotton, silk and linen and they are combined in one piece.

Colors are inspired on the earth, the origin and black and white as a metaphor for Apartheid.
